A two-day course for Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists

Here is a new course designed to make you more confident working with patients with neurological conditions, alongside your Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy colleagues.
 
This is a very practical based course for occupational therapists and physiotherapists addressing the core skills required to assess and treat neurological patients at an introductory level. It will be case study based with both a joint and discipline specific focus on clinical reasoning and the practical aspects of intervention.

Day one will cover elements such as:

- The patients’ Neurorehab potential
- Neurophysical screening and assessment
- Early positioning, mobility and safety factors

Day two will cover the following:

- Clinical reasoning and patient centred treatment planning
- Handling skills focussing on pelvis trunk and upper limb
- Practical treatment ideas
