Our Facilitators have had a busy time as there have been lots of requests for our SAC education. We delivered to Community Physio (CPS) for the first time. The 33 in attendance thoroughly enjoyed our Emotional Wellbeing module.
It was so well received that the CPS team have requested all our other modules for 2018. We also delivered our Evidence Based Practise and LEAN Module to allied health staff at both SCGH and Osborne Park Hospital. Both workshops were well received with staff saying “We have already put some LEAN changes into practise and so pleased we had the time to workshop quality improvements with TRACS”.
Our development facilitators delivered two modules of our subacute care (SAC) learning program at Geraldton the patient care assistants, administrative staff and allied health assistants. Modules presented this time were: Interprofessional Team Building and Emotional Wellbeing. A number of participants felt that coming together to network and hold discussions was useful in developing trust, compassion and respect. Information about different learning styles and how they contribute to the team was found to be useful. Other feedback indicated that participants enjoyed engaging in the group activities and many left the session with plans to actively practise skills such as mindfulness, self-care and compassion in the workplace.
