In August, it will be two years since the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention monthly VC education series commenced.
There have been 17 sessions delivered, with an increasing list of attendees from sites throughout Western Australia. These popular lunch time sessions also provide networking opportunities and access to resources relevant to the topic.

If you have an interest in the recovery journey for Chronic Heart Failure patients, please have a look at our recently completed e-learning modules 1 and 2 of the first series. The third module will be available shortly.

They cover the areas of:

• Goal Setting
• Enablement
• Self-management support
• Motivational Interviewing and Behaviour Change

The modules take approximately 20 minutes each to complete, and are supported by the Heart Foundation’s Evidence Based Guidelines.

Once three modules have been completed we can offer 1 CPD point towards your yearly professional development.
