TRACS WA, in collaboration with the Innovation and Development team at WA County Health Services (WACHS), are facilitating the formation of a WA Stroke Care Community of Practice (CoP).

On Thursday 24th September, a virtual Stakeholder Meeting was held with targeted participants invited from a variety of stroke services across WA Health. The main aims of this forum were to:

1. Identify the gaps in support, mentoring, training and clinical support for staff working with stroke survivors in WA.

2. Identify key prioritised elements of the CoP which will help guide the development of a clinician led CoP supported by TRACS WA.

3. Identify a core group of enthusiastic members who will form a working group to establish and guide the direction of the CoP in supporting evidence-based Stroke care in WA.

Further meetings will be conducted to assist in developing the WA Stroke Care Community of Practice. Please get in touch with us if you would like to be involved at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
