Here are some highlights from recent Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention (CRSP) sessions:
The July CRSP session was about 'Acute Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease in Australia'. This session presented information about the End RHD in Australia: Study of Epidemiology (ERASE) research.
The ‘Nutrition for Heart Health’ presentation by Sandy Duxbury from the WA Heart Foundation was an informative session on nutritional requirements for heart health including practical advice for patients. You might like to listen to the recording to find out the role of eggs in maintaining a Heart Healthy diet.
In September the session focused on cardiac related research with Assoc Prof. Andrew Maoirana and his research team Anna Scheer, Nacho Suarez and Tashi Dorje. The recording of this session will be available shortly.
The November Session is on Thursday 26th, 12.30-1.30 with topic on Chronic Heart Failure. To register please access the flyer.
