In her role as Senator, Helen was thankful for the opportunity to speak at the Clinical Senate meeting where the goal was to explore the relationship between workforce and the building of a sustainable health service delivery model, ’ The Health and Wellbeing of our Workforce’.

Helen presented on TRACS WA’s Emotional Wellbeing training: Promoting balance in the workplace by practising compassionate self-care.

A second poster Building a culturally respectful non-discriminatory workforce through provision of Aboriginal Person-centred Care training was delivered by Nola Naylor, Director of Aboriginal Strategy in SMHS on behalf of the Aboriginal Person centred care collaborative group where TRACS WA co-facilitated training with Aboriginal staff. This session aligns workforce wellness and a healthcare culture that supports leadership development and innovation and holds the patient outcome at the centre of everything we do.
