Nicole Sanders has a background in occupational therapy and has been a practicing clinician for 15 years, predominantly working in neurological rehabilitation, across Perth and in the UK.
She has joined TRACS WA on secondment from the outpatient neurology clinic for the State Rehabilitation Service at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Nicole is committed to ongoing professional development and is a strong advocate for the development of staff to support best practice for health service users in subacute care within Western Australia. Currently studying a Master in Health Professions Education at the University of Western Australia, Nicole will present the findings of her thesis on the 'factors influencing occupational therapy stroke education along the continuum of care in Western Australia,' at the Occupational Therapy Australia Conference in Cairns, in June 2021.
