TRACS WA held its second stroke interdisciplinary online learning event for members of the Stroke Community of Practice.
The Virtual Stroke Symposium was held on 2nd December and was a hugely successful and well attended event. Dr Lay Kun Kho (Consultant neurologist) and Jarred Munro (Clinical psychologist) kindly shared some of their expertise, and imparted some very useful knowledge and strategies for health professionals working with individuals with a diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
We kindly thank them for their time in presenting very engaging and practical information about this condition, and thank those who attended the event. We will endeavour to facilitate a face-to-face event next year, to encourage networking and facilitate connections between clinicians working rural and metropolitan health, however this year, we have had a very positive response to the flexibility of the online learning platform. Keep an eye out on our website for future events in 2022. If you want to ensure that you’ll hear about our virtual Stroke Symposia you might like to register to join CoP Registration.
