The Bitesize training is to assist you to deliver high quality, person centred care to your patients, and also to look after yourself and your fellow health workers during these challenging times. These have been very popular and attendees have appreciated being able to 'meet with' others and learn about/discuss a range of different topics.
Tuesdays 12:30 - 1:15pm series topic is: Partnering with Aboriginal people These sessions were also offered in April and are repeated by popular demand.
10th May - Looking after yourself during COVID -2 - This training will focus specifically on ways to support the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal health staff.
24th May - Partnering with Aboriginal people - This training will provide informaiton about delivering culturally appropriate care.
Wednesdays 12:30 - 1:15pm series topic is: Complex goal setting and supporting behaviour change
4th May - Practical tools for goal setting - This training will introduce general strategies to support goal setting.
11th May - Behavioural activation - This trianing will focus on strategies to support behaviour change, especially in people with low mood.
18th May - Motivational interviewing - This training will focus on strategies to support readiness for change.
25th May - Goal setting - language and/ or cognitive impairment - This training will elaborate a range of communication strategies around goal setting.
